Hinglish captions

Hinglish captions, as you speak

Say it in Hindi, in English, or both in one sentence. You get captions in English letters — “aaj main aapko ek chhoti si tip batata hoon” — with every word on screen as you say it, and your video never leaves your device.

Spelled the way people read it

Hindi words in the Roman spelling your audience types in comments and DMs, and English words left in English. No stiff translation, no “Hindi in a box”.

Timed to every word

An Indian speech model gets the words right, and word-level timing puts each one on screen as you say it — even when you talk fast.

Devanagari is one switch away

The same recording can be captioned in हिंदी instead: switch the script in the Text tab and the captions are written again, timing and all.

Built here · the same idea in हिंदी

Made for the mix India speaks

Most caption tools are built for English and treat Hindi as an afterthought. Here, a sentence that starts in Hindi and ends in English stays readable, and fast talking stays in time.

  • Hindi, English and Hinglish in the same video
  • A name or brand you correct once stays correct in every video after
  • Need English captions instead? Pick Captions in: English and each sentence is translated as it is said

Styles that look good in Hinglish

Six of the thirty-seven. Each one works in English letters and in Devanagari, so switching scripts never breaks the look.

Questions

What are Hinglish captions?

Captions that write Hindi in English letters, mixed with the English words you actually used — the way most people text. For example: “Ye ek tip aapke Reels ki reach badha degi.” They are easier to read for most viewers than Devanagari, especially on a fast-moving Reel.

Can I get the same video in Devanagari?

Yes. The script is a switch, not a new project: change it in the editor and the captions are written again in Devanagari, with the same timing and the same style.

Can I get English captions for a Hinglish video?

Yes. Choose “Captions in: English” before you start. Each sentence is translated and shown while it is being said. Check names and numbers before you post: they are the things translation most often gets wrong.

How well does it handle fast Hinglish?

Well, and getting better. Fast, code-mixed speech is what it was tuned on: words that a speech model misses are kept as words of their own and timed on your voice, so captions don’t drift. Anything it still gets wrong, you fix with a click, and names you correct are remembered.

Is it free?

Free is five minutes of transcription a month, at 720p, with thirteen styles and no watermark. Paid plans start at ₹99 a month for an hour of transcription, with every style and 1080p.

Will it work on my phone?

The editor and the caption files work in any modern browser. Making the MP4 needs the browser to encode video, which Chrome and Edge on a computer do well and Android Chrome manages for short clips. On an iPhone, take the SRT file, or come back to a laptop for the video.
